Hey guys I was wondering how hard is it to transfer from a tier 1 major to a tier 3 major? I'm currently enrolled as an engineering major (suggestion from my parents) but I realized I am just not that interested in it. If any of you have any suggestions on what to do, that would be great! Thanks

Oh okay, so he knows I'm in but just not really responding I guess. I have emailed him a total of 4 times and have only gotten a reply from him once and it wasn't even for anything important haha while the other ones were.

I didn't directly but I talked to my admissions counselor about a problem I had with my application and just threw in there that I got the NROTC scholarship.

Hey guys So I have confirmed my enrollment at USC and accepted the NROTC scholarship there, what should I be expecting? I'm actually a little concerned (not sure why) but when I went to visit USC and the ROTC staff the guy told me to let him know if I got in or not because the admissions office...

Never an exact answer but you seem like a great candidate. Good grades + extracurriculars are always a plus. Apply as early as you can and dress nicely for your interview. Bring all awards and test scores along with transcripts with you to the interview. Good luck!

For me, there were actually two portals. The netfocus portal which you submitted the application and another one which came in an email when they received your application. The second one was updated first for me when I checked and the netfocus portal wasn't updated until about a week later.

Hi all, so college acceptances are coming out soon and it's been a stressful time. I received an NROTC scholarship to USC to me which is kind of a reach, and in an email I received they informed me that they would "be an advocate in the admissions process with the university" so I was wondering...

Would it be easier to try and transfer schools or to try and switch Tiers? I know I made this harder on myself by being indecisive on my major..... Also is it harder because Navy wants more tier 1 and 2? And I heard only 15% tier 3 applicants get the scholarship

Which application are you talking about in the first part? ROTC or USC? Because I don't remember what I put in but I got my letter in the mail today and it said Tier 1.
