I actually had a similar question. I am in NROTC at college and I am reapplying to USAFA. Would it be appropriate to show up to nomination interviews in uniform? If so, would khakis be the best uniform to wear?

I was told by my ALO that receiving a nomination to USAFA from an NROTC unit is not a problem and is completely possible. Is that not true? Where can I find information on the ROTC nomination process? I have done some research but I am coming up empty handed.

I received the same letter from AFA on Friday, stating that I would be immediately notified if a slot opens up, in bold letters nonetheless. Im not that optimistic of a slot opening up, but I am praying for Prep or FF at the moment. Im in district 11.

I was wondering the same thing. My letter stated that I would be notified immediately if a slot opens up. I don't have much hope for a slot opening up but who knows. The word "waitlist" was never mentioned.
