definitely rest. I am a jumper/sprinter for track and have terrible knees and shins. the only thing that makes them feel better is rest.

they do not care what color or style tennis shoes you have. We had a guy there with fluorescent multicolored shoes and the trainers thought it was funny.

shin splints (which i've had since 7th grade) is just constant aching/nagging pain in your lower legs (shins)
completely agree with that. There are going to be so many people dealing with shin splints and other injuries that they just push through. Don't be that person unless you ABSOLUTELY CANNOT participate in PEP and running. you lose a lot of respect from your classmates and trust me, they'll know...
