He recieved a non-commital letter outlining next steps to the application - this was posted on his portal after his initial evaluation was completed

My DS wrote the RC who said his ACT scores might be preventing the DoDMERB file from opening. This is a bit confusing, because he received the non-commital letter which we believe indicated that he would be able to compete - in other words complete the entire application. I would have thought...

We have completed everything for the usma application with the exception of the CFA which will be complete in a couple of days. The medical evaluation is not yet open, however. We are concerned about getting it completed in time. Does this section of the application typically open after the CFA?

We are also waiting in Alabama (AL-03), DS has three nominations including Sessions - have not heard yet. He did get his 3Q letter on Friday so hopefully we are getting closer.

Has anyone received a 3Q letter this year in Alabama- DS received one last year but not so far this year and things have only improved.

AL 62 nominations posted and I think this is Sessions- has anyone see anything from Shelby?

I understand that AL 62, which I believe is Senator Sessions has submitted nominations. I'm not sure about Shelby.

I wonder if this is the large first wave because they have not posted any pictures to the USMA admissions facebook page. In years past they have posted pictures of the large boxes of BFE's getting ready to be mailed.

Just checking back on whether anyone has heard on nominations in Alabama from Shelby or Sessions?

I don't think I was clear with my question, my DS is currently in Army ROTC at a University. His ROTC PMS submitted a Form 5-497 to recommend for ROTC nomination to West Point. Should this appear in any form on his portal?
