I chose MMI over the other options because of a couple reasons. First, they do take a majority of the Civil Prep program kids every year, and additionally, I have a personal friend who did Civil Prep a year ago and is a current plebe and he recommended MMI to me.

Well said. In my own case, however, I was offered a Civil Prep spot this year without any TWE, but I know how seemingly random the process can be at times.

Just found out I won a 4-year scholarship to top 3 schools! Congrats to everyone who received a scholarship and to those that didn't don't lose faith: I missed the first board and thought my chances were slim. Very excited for what's to come.

I got an email December 21st from Gillibrand's Deputy Director saying I received a nomination and it is posted on my portal, but no call and no letter. Did you receive a letter? My local MOC sent a letter as well. Just curious.
