I have no clue but I can say that on the application it does ask if any of your parents or siblings went to an academy. If it does help, I think it is probably trivial.

I believe when vampsoul said: "You can not qualify academically" she meant that that is one reason why not everyones files open... your file may not open because you do not meet the academy qualifications academically. So she was answering to say that not everyone will have a file opened.

My letter with me address on it was dated June 8th so you probably should have received it by now. I did not receive an email with my address though. You may be able to contact admissions and they should have it for you. If not you will get it on R-Day.

When I was visiting for an overnight visit a few months ago, I was able to get facebook on my phone. Also on the information booklet online for appointees, the section dealing with bank accounts mentions something about your first deposit so yes you earn a stipend during bct.

If possible they should sign them. But if they are uploaded on the computer I'm not sure how that would work unless they printed, signed, and then scanned back on the computer... Just try to do your best with what the application asks.

Yup boots run big. I am female, size 8 and ended up with a size 7.

Last year the VP nomination did not require recommendations so this is new. I would try to reread the directions and see what it says. I don't think that you should send the letters to the academy though unless it specifically says to. Also letters of recommendation are supposed to be private...
