Not trying to be rude here but are you applying or is your son? That being said, it would look much better if your son were the one asking the application questions to congressmen/women. By all means, point him in the right direction, but let him do the talking.
They will take the credit as long as it's college level and you have the transcripts for it. Generally the english professor also has to sign off on it so they may make you do some sort of writing assessment. I did this last year and did not take any elective in its place nor have I heard of...
Did that all come in one package? I received my medical stuff a few days ago but it didn't have the reporting information and class of 2014 questionnaire with it.

People keep talking about stuff to bring etc, would you have family send stuff after indoc? I've seen a lot of lists out there of what others recommend but obviously you wouldn't want/need to bring all that stuff to indoc. How much time is in between indoc and when the first semmester...
