Just got a letter from Pensacola saying that I haven't been selected for the NROTC Scholarship. It'd be nice to have that scholarship as Plan B, but as long as they choose the right guys, then I'm happy :) April cannot possibly come any sooner, can it??

Unfortunately, after a quick visit to their website, I've found out that I have not been selected for the NROTC Scholarship. Now, I patiently watch the days go by and hope for word back from the Academy. Like they say, no news is good news! For now, time to play the "hurry up and wait game" :)

Received a nomination to USNA from Congressman McNerney (CA-11), but did not receive nomination from Senator Feinstein. On a sidenote, rather sad to think that McNerney is no longer our Congressman :frown: He's been an amazing congressman for our district
