Yesterday was a roller coaster. 8am DS received twe. Wasn’t crushed but he was definitely bummed. Said he would try again. 8pm yesterday and he is on the phone receiving a scholarship offer to a great football program. Turned out to be a good day!

I find it odd that the parents group on FB only has 275 members. I understand that way more offers have been sent out and not everyone engages on social media but 2 months out from your son or daughter leaving and only 275 people? Every other class has 1k+. I understand it’s a meaningless...

Sure. It’s not a very deep explanation. I was in the Marines and was offered a spot in Platoon Leaders Class at the end of my enlistment. I had never even considered college and was planning on focusing on a trade after separation. I gave it some thought but ultimately said thanks but no thanks...
