Is there anything you can do to stop a brand new black army trench coat from bleeding onto a white dress shirt collar? It states that is it dry clean only but seems like a waste to get a brand new coat dry cleaned. DS doesn't like that it's making black marks on his white collars. Any solutions?
When does USAFA post the Honor's list for 2017 Spring Semester? What I'm finding is what they call 2017 Spring Honor's list is for grades from Fall 2016 classes, if I understand correct.
It's definitely worth a try to email whoever the ROTC contact is at the school that she wasn't accepted . They may be able help her gain acceptance. I personally have known of this happening.
Denver is much cheaper to fly in and out of than COS and if u can find a larger airport near your home it may only cost you half as much. DS loves to fly Southwest because they don't charge you make changes and their prices are usually the lowest in his case.
When DS registered for his new student orientation, there was a form on their website that he needs to have filled out by his Dr with all his immunizations. This was from the college, not ROTC.
The past 2 years DS was not allowed to book a flight leaving before 6pm out of Denver on Tuesday. I think there is a rule in place so cadets don't try to schedule flights out too early. I don't know what the time is for Colorado Springs Airport. This might be different for different squadrons...
You covered alot @Daretodream ! The only thing I could think of is to fly them home with Southwest whenever possible. Plans seem to always change and they don't charge for changes.
What happens now? DS#2 was waiting for a waiver from USAFA until yesterday when he received his TWE. He is also waiting for a waiver from AROTC, for his plan b . Who would he contact to see where they are with his waiver? He is still in "pending waiver review" . We want to stay on top of it...
Love Embry Riddle! That was DS#1's back up plan and let's just say I would not have been unhappy to go visit him there, especially during PA winters! We toured it and didn't want to come home. Congrats to your DS!
