I honestly don't know the answer to that, and since its a medical question I'm not going to make an assumption. I'm sure you can find out the information if you call admissions for through DODMERB. Sorry though. I recommend all those stated above. To get better at running do intervals (springs...

    Mid willing to answer questions

Everyone's beat me to it, but yes the run portion gets the most people who fail the PRT. For plebe summer I would use the running plan in the PTR packet. I used to sprint in high school and hated running distance, but I used that to get ready and was fine for the longer runs over the summer...

I personally wasn't a napster so I can't speak on advice for naps. But the ones in my company made plebe summer so much easier for me at the beginning with the help and insight they provide. Most of the time they're great people but if you want advice feel free to PM me and I can send you what...

    1. I personally had a 0600 report time and I was able to unpack and set up my room, my roommate had a late report time around 0900 and he missed lunch and didn't have time to unpack before the oath of office but he was fine as we all helped him get ready that Sunday. Also eat a good breakfast...

They're difficult if your someone who doesn't understand the material well when it comes to chemistry. The English exam is just an essay on a quick reading they give you. While it's nice to validate classes, its not the end of the world if you don't. The academy wants you to succeed academically...

Unfortunately, I'm with what was said earlier. I haven't heard of anyone recently doing this.

The official wording is that it can't be "faddish or eccentric and must be in good taste." I personally use a black apple watch and I'd say most mids use Apple or Garmin watches when it comes to smartwatches. As for plebe year, your future mid will be able to wear it right after plebe summer ends.

So I personally do not remember my high school GPA off the top of my head, but I got a 1360 on the SAT. To prepare for interviews, think about what questions you expect them to ask you and prepare for what you want to say. For example, why USNA, what makes you stand out from the rest. Along with...

Soon USNA should send out Permit to Report packets soon and those instructions will be outlined which will help pay off your DS's ACE Loan Yes! There will be chances to walk on to any team at the Academy during sports period. You'll have a brief over the summer about how it works for each...

That's still true today. My partner and I both made each other have nose bleeds and got an 88 on the final. Only 2 people that got A's in my section bout was a full-on brawl.

I love it! The teachers are really there to make sure you succeed and the discussions in the classroom are great. The major is very flexible which allows you to focus on different areas in economics (ie International trade/relations, Business Economics, Mathematics, or Micro/Macro policies) all...

    Mid willing to answer questions

What I told my NASS candidates last summer was to get the application done as soon as possible. USNA does rolling admissions so having your package done early can only help you. I also told them to make it known that they want to come here, list your reasons, also show them you want to be an...

Well first off congrats! When it comes to Naval Aviation about ~250 get it (little under a quarter of a class). So it's not that difficult comparatively. I'm a Quantitative Economics major so I'm not that familiar with the Political Science program here. But through my friends in my company who...

It honestly depends on what you want to do. I tried out for the sailing team, but boxing is an option if you want. The only benefit is that you get 6 free periods during your first semester. I would recommend boxing if you were going to choose one however as its almost impossible to get an A...

Along with what was said. PRK is what the navy calls it and is very common. Most will get PRK their 2/C year so they'll be fine before service assignment. As said its also paid for by the navy.
