Wow Bull are you positive on that? If so that would be a HUGE relief. However to be more specific coming into my sophomore year i had a cumulative of 2.8 however this past semester I did absolutely awful and now my cumulative is only a 2.48.

Sorry, yes I am AROTC. I just registered for an online class, that will bring me back above a 2.5 IF i get an A in the course.

Does anyone know what happens if your GPA falls below a 2.5 while on scholarship? I am a 4 year scholarship cadet and am going to be a second semester sophomore. My gpa has always been above a 2.5 but the past semester was very hard and now my cumulative has fallen below. Thanks.

I agree with OC 100%. Your cadre wont be too happy with you if you are just doing the minimum to get by. I run 5 days a week taking Saturday and Sunday to rest. I never go less than 2 miles, and sometimes its beneficial to take a long slow run of 5 plus miles.

You need to be able to run at least 2 miles. Assuming you 17 to 21 years old, the minimum passing time would be 15:54. This is for army though. I assume since you said 1.5 miles you are talking about AFROTC?

I had not heard of it before either. Although, my unit contacted me last month and asked me if I wanted to go ahead and get it over with. They said they advised doing it early, because anybody who failed would have a few times to retry without losing scholarship money.

My status changed on the website. It was something along the lines of You have accepted an Army ROTC scholarship pending mecial qualification from DoDMERB at....whatever college you accepted it at.
