I was told the AOG and the Academy Gift Shop are competitors. Each shop sells unique products. None are shared. I visited both a few weeks ago and this held true. None of the items for sale in the AOG Gift Shop were available in the Visitor Center Gift Shop and vice-versa.

I personally know 2 Cadets who completed 2 years at a major university after 2 non-appointments. One is now at USAFA Class of 2018 the other at USMA Class of 2018. Both persevered. Neither were recruited athletes. If you do not receive appointment, ROTC is a great alternative. As well, you...
