    Navy VS Army Intel

No I do not and I have done research but I get a lot of different answers from a lot of people including recruiters and the Internet isn't any better.

    Navy VS Army Intel

idk if anyone will know the answer to this but since SWO is under the NUPOC program would it be possible to do that and take the scholarships then a few years in try to switch to intel?

    Navy VS Army Intel

I'm not enrolled in anything yet, was just thinking about doing rotc.

    Navy VS Army Intel

Is that just for academy people or people who do ROTC and OCS as well? It seems like a huge majority of naval officers are SWO. Is there any reason for that ?

    Navy VS Army Intel

Thanks. Ya my degree is in biology and neuroscience so both science fields. The recruiter I talked to mentioned NUPOC a lot and honestly it looks great but I just don't know if I'd really be interested in nuclear power.

    Navy VS Army Intel

if someone were to do that would they spend most of their time on ships

    Navy VS Army Intel

SWO is like controlling submarines and nuclear reactors right? So most of the time you'd be stationed to a ship?

    Navy VS Army Intel

Would that mean 4 years SWO then 4 for Intel?

Which is better: ROTC or OCS?

Is this just for army or reserves for all branches ?

Which is better: ROTC or OCS?

So if I do reserves, I'd have a better shot at getting Intel officer?

    Navy VS Army Intel

Hey guys. So this is kind of like a pros and cons for both. I have always wanted to go Navy. I think they just have a lot of tradition and they have a lot of science research going on and a lot of innovative research. With that being said, my school only has army ROTC so I am thinking about it...

Which is better: ROTC or OCS?

Like some people I know really wanted a specific job but when they finished OCS something happened and they didn't get it and they were given their 3rd option. This might sound dumb but when people contract, does that just mean they agree to be in the army or that they also will receiver the job...

Which is better: ROTC or OCS?

So you don't get to pick the branch you want till after you graduate OCS? So if I really wanted Navy or Air Force it would be a gamble because I wouldn't know what I'd get picked for till it's almost done? If I really wanted a join in Intel would there be any way to gaurentee that before OCS ?
  14. G

Which is better: ROTC or OCS?

Do you get more of a guarantee with ROTC since some people get offered contracts before they graduate?
  15. G

Which is better: ROTC or OCS?

I was not born in 98 and I have done a lot of research but could not find anything. I am not referring to nrotc but just ROTC in general. For all the branches. Also the question did not indicate that I was choosing between the two. Just a simple compare and contrast. It's not an over dependence...
