GREAT camp! My DS also attended last year and had a lot of fun and was even able to see the Academy, which was a plus for him. I would recommend it to anyone who isnt eligible for SS. I know the deadline to attend this camp at the AFA is Apr 15th, so GOOD LUCK!

Thanks for the in sight, and the great advice! I totally agree with all that you have written, the more we can get done now the less DS is rushing at the end. What about the USAFA Form 148 that is needed to be completed with the transcript? Or should I just worry about getting his transcript...

DS did his online application for the AFA and it states Applicant (your application is under consideration)-Competitive So my question is this, after printing off and reading the intructions for Precandidates, we just wait until his status changes to candidate and then they will send...

DS found out this morning he has been accepted to SS! He was very excited. Now, we just need to decide which session to attend.

I just have a question. Do you think it would be in my sons best interest to contact his ALO and let him know that he has applied for summer seminar and is under consideration? He doesnt want to bother him, but I am thinking that this might be something important that he might need to know?

I have seen a few on here that have been accepted since then. DS is still waiting as well, been under consideration since the day after he submitted his application onJanuary 8th. Good Luck to you! Hopefully soon you will know and the waiting will be over :)

For science classes I have already taken Honors Biology w/lab, Chemistry w/lab, Physics w/lab and Coastal Ecology. Next year I am planning on taking Husson Anatomy and Physiology (which is a college course) So am I on the right track with my science?
