North Georgia Military College is the SMC with the lowest ACT/GPA. It a good 4 year college, with a very large all Army ROTC program. Its also affordable for OOS. AROTC there has lots of military extra-curricular activities. I think you need about a 21 ACT 2.0-2.5 GPA. Just another option.

We asked a couple of our professional adult neighbors to do mock interviews, I think that really helped.

Talk to the AROTC adviser at a college that offers AROTC nursing, preferably the one you are most interested in. More here

If you are applying to USMA, you should be eligible for scholarships elsewhere, University of Alabama, for Example More Here for faimlies with limited means.

You should talk to a AROTC PMS ASAP, they may help you expedite your citizenship app...on account of your skill at a critical language ---may not help, but it never hurts to try. Good luck (it worked for my son's friend)
