Couldn't have said it better myself. We're in NC District 10 and have seen nor heard nothing. My DS and your DD seem to have very similar resumes and I like you want him "to see the fruit of hard work"
While not having the experience of being a Nava Officer, my wife and I are both career AF...
And yet another week starts with so many candidates still actively hoping/praying to get an email, phone call...any notification that they've received a coveted appointment to the USNA.
Some will receive confirmation and elation and other's...not so much.

I never implied that was a systemic problem. I know mistakes happen, but the mistakes should be rectified. If it's the the first offense of the recruiter, he or she should be reprimanded and the performance report should reflect the reprimand #accountability.

If that's true, the recruiters (those involved) need to be marked down on their next performance report. That kind of unprofessional behavior is unacceptable and should not be tolerated.
Because of their mistake, this young man who was fully qualified missed out on a possible scholarship...
I've been following this forum daily in hopes of obtaining any shred of news on this incredibly anxiety provoking wait. So far we've been hearing from those that received appointments. Has anyone on this forum been notified of being declined? If so, how were you informed?
