    Patentesq, No, we weren't too concerned about that since my son was assured that it was common and would not be held against him. Our biggest concern is that if he is fortunate enough to receive a scholarship to his #1 choice (Notre Dame) and accepts it, but later finds out in early April...

    Yes, my son interviewed at Xavier U. in Cincinnati and was up front with the person who interviewed him that he was not applying there. He applied to 5 schools out of state and his status changed this week.

    West Point issues letters to triple qualified candidates who don't win the their MOC appointments notifying them that they are on the National Wait List. Does the USNA issue a similar letter under similar consequences?
