We've heard as well that no news will come until after May 1 when all outstanding offers have been resolved .... were also told to begin moving forward on plan B ..... looks like TWE in the works here.

Scholarship letter arrived yesterday ..... 3yr AD to all the schools listed on the app: VATech, William & Mary, Bucknell and UMD (Thought she applied for only one). Only VATech was listed on the Scholarship status portal on-line. Now to figure out what to do ..... Good luck to everyone...

I'm kind of sorry I started this thread! :) The simple reality is that there are a limited number of spaces at USMA, and too many perfectly well qualified candidates ready, willing, and able to fill those spaces. Some may consider the process flawed, but ultimately the classes are filled...

Jcleppe - just the one scholarship school - only one applied for ... still waiting on USMA.

It's been so quiet, and we've been stalking the mailman daily .... so far no TWE, but nothing else either. It seems so late and other deadlines are looming. Is anyone else still in limbo?

I have essentially the same question as Jayhawk .... do the folks on the NWL languish indefinitely, or does the Academy notify them of the final rejection at some point?

Daughter just received Cardin letter stating that she had been selected by the board to receive the nomination, but that he chose to "defer to Senator Mikulski" to eliminate duplicate nominations. Oh well ....

Our daughter received a nomination from Sen. Mikulski in November, and was notified on December 29 that she's on the NWL, so someone else got the Mikulski slot. She just heard that she received the Sarbanes nomination yesterday, but still no word from Cardin. I, too, heard that he coordinates...
