Exactly...that the entire package of ranking and points still matter...but the pool is not only for the people who decline their offers in the first round, but those districts who didnt have applicants therefore leaving open spots that had been allocated...

I just found out my son was placed in the National Pool. What are the chances and averages of being selected out of that? Is it usually after the deadline of declining offers>
