It was fun, we had to carry the big boat back down to the Waterfront, apparently it took 12 guys from 3rd CO to bring it up, but 80-90 guys from 1st and 2nd to bring it back down.

I doubt they will get more than a 5 or 30 minute call. 2nd Company won as fastest company resulting in phone priveledges for the day. I do not see 1st company outside on the lawns with their cell phones.

What company is he in? 2nd COMP. is allowed 1200-1800. 4th COMP. lost their phone time this weekend...

During INDOC every company was selected at least one day to set up the tables in DELANO. After setting up tables all the candidates promoted their own company.

I would recommend using Skype because the RTO(Regimental Training Officer) told us no way. P/C out.

It will probably be impossible as you are literally are stealing two spots at the academies, one from the Merchant marines, and the one to say naval academy, and what if you get there and decide you don't like it or don't want to be in the Navy? Think long and hard before you even conceive that...

I loved the school, I learned a laundry list of things not to do when you show up. :)

I just visited today as a day visitor as an accepted appointee, just dress casual, and bring what you would think you would need for any overnight stay. :thumb:

Is it possible to have a 2 weeks on/off lifestyle as a merchant marine? What sector of the merchant industry would have that lifestyle? I am looking into doing both air national guard or anything else. What about 1 month on/off. What sectors would have to go into to have that lifestyle? Thank...
