    That's with 2 maths & 2 sciences too, including Calc BC & Physics. I know I couldn't have survived with that my Sr year. During swim season, he had practice before & after school. Then work. He wanted to prepare for academy life. Honestly, I don't think he could do more to improve his odds...

    Nothing! DS is focused on getting through 8 AP tests right now, so he's not even thinking about it, fortunately.

    I think those numbers are dated too. DS will be incoming freshman & I could've sworn during open house, they said the were about 1400 strong with a 70+ commissioning rate. In letters we've received, they have a record incoming class size.

    I think the delays with the other academies may also have a role. No one would decline until they knew all their options.

    DS (3Q NWL) was able to reach RC this afternoon who said there wasn't many seats left & he would hear a final decision Monday. Didn't sound promising.
