can anyone tell me how many passes a plebe (not sure of the AirForce term) gets his first year? Does it make a difference if he is a football player? And I don't mean getting off campus for games, actually passes. Thanks

My son has a friend who is being recruited to USAFA to play football. He has not applied nor attempted the nomination process, but they said they can get him in...they also told him he would be making $800 per month pay AFTER all things are taken out. We don't want this kid to believe one...

My son's came in about a week from the nomination hitting the portal.

Just went to the website and checked out the shoes. While they may be great running shoes, I have no idea, with my son's size 15 foot he would FOR SURE look like BigFoot! No disrespect intended :redface:

My son received 3 nominations to West Point and didn't get any correspondance until the Appointment came. Of course, now, the correspondance is like an avalanche of paper work! :yllol: Good luck in your wait.

Is your son interested in playing a sport at West Point, like the track you mentioned? Maybe that would be an additional help for him if the coaches were interested in him.
