Last year, I got the DoDMERB scheduling info early in June... like the first week in June. You can schedule them as soon as you want after you get the packet.

You can decline if you get accepted. If the air force session dates might conflict or something, I could suggest you look at West Point's, Navy's, and Coast Guard's summer seminar programs too.

From what I understand, most MOCs don't rank or assign primary noms. I'm pretty sure your MOC staffer people would let your know if you have a primary nom. Otherwise, that kind of info won't show up on your CIS.

There are also check boxes for "member", "attended summer camp", and "officer". There's a place for you to type in your unit's name too! After Spaatz, there's something for "Leadership Staff College or International Air Cadet Exchange" - Not really sure what that is..

Yes, it will be in the Candidate Activities Records form. It has its own section labeled "Civil Air Patrol Participation" and the flying hours thing is right above it!

I was told that Boxer's people reach out to the districts to ask for the names of candidates who have received nominations. I'm not sure about Fenstein's.

Welcome! :D Sorry to hear about your congressional nomination. Did you try to call them and ask if they would still accept packets? My district was still accepting packets up to three weeks after the deadline. What about senator noms or JROTC noms?
