Thank you for all the answers!! My family has a strong history in the Air Force, thats why I was interested in a cross commission... even if it doesnt work out, I will be happy to serve this great country in the US Army!

I received an appointment back in February, but havent accepted it because im still waiting on Air Force and Navy. Is this deadline for people who HAVE accepted their appointment?

Can you cross commission out of USMA into the Air Force?? If so how would you go about doing that?? I got accepted to West Point this year, and havent heard anyting back from USAFA... Becoming a pilot has been my dream since I was a kid. Also, does the Army have any fixed wing aircraft?

Whatever you do dont lose sight of your dreams... no status change for me and this is my second time applying. I went to NWP, learned a lot and brought my ACT up to a 33.. This is a rough time for the service academies because of our horrible economy and DoD cuts... Dont feel bad if you dont...
