    Besides getting an BFE (big fat envelope) in the mail, how does one know they have an appointment? Does it show up on their portal before getting something in the mail?

    Principal or Alternate Nomination

    DS has 2 nominations listed on WP Candidate portal. Hasn't received any letters, emails or calls regarding his nominations from anywhere. Is it better to assume he's on the NWL and wait it out (while continuing to build his file) or contact his FFR or congressman to inquire about his status?

    DS's West Point candidate profile shows he has a nomination as of yesterday. Haven't received anything in the mail yet. We are in the 1st district (Jay Inslee).:biggrin:

    Just heard a couple guys got their nomination letters from the 7th district - McDermott. One for USNA & the other for USAFA.

    Thanks for the advice - he ended up having to see our physician who wrote a letter to clear him making sure his SS# and name were on the letter.

    My son received a R251.22 administrative remedial that doesn't require a physician's appointment. But it said to "PLEASE send a doctors note once your tinea pedis (athletes foot) has been resolved.":confused: How are we supposed to get a doctors note without the doctor seeing him?
