Means they have to sit absolutely rigid, can't talk to anyone, and had to divide the simple motion of taking food from their plates to their mouths into rigid movements. The purpose of this is for someone who has gone through it to explain... I am not qualified.
I appreciate the information. She does have a heart condition and I did ask her to talk to the doctor about making the trip to the higher altitude. I know that the two times I was there I had headaches for a short time.
I realize that she can watch from the stands, her track & field days are over so no rushing out onto the field :eek: ....Is there a specific area set aside for the disabled and are we able to park near the stand using a handicap placard?
You do not need a club to participate in XC and Track. You can compete as "unattached" (as an individual). I coach club track and see this all the time. Look into joining USAT&F or AAU. You "might" be able to use officially recorded results from sanctioned meets. The best thing to do is...
