Thank you. While we are on the subject. Does a USMMA Mid. have many tutoring opportunities on campus? What are some reasons that Mids. fail so often? I am a USMMA Prep for NMMI for class of 2014 and want be well knowledged of these things before heading to USMMA.

I went last year and this is what cadre and staff at the academy told me....

Everything is by lottery. If a application meets the standards, then they are thrown into this pool of other candidates and then chosen by lottery. I would suspect the same for open slots to wait listed candidates.

Don't worry about the the protein in the urine too much. Was it DoDMERB's test? Just take another urine exam with your primary care physician and you should be fine. Sometimes that extra protein is due to an excess in exercise. At least that is what happened to me.

Can you elaborate what 'self-service' is at NMMI? And best of luck! Were you sponsored? I thought that as long as you maintain 2.5 or higher as a sponsored prep, that you are guaranteed appointment.

It was raining the day we got to play, so we played indoor basketball. It is not a big deal. Just allows the cadre to see if you are able to interact with people. Just enjoy and put some effort.

you still have a possibility of getting in. If you do not attend, it is not the ned of the world. Plenty have not attended AIM and have been accepted to CGA.

It is not a requirement, but I have heard that is better to do it before attending a SA so that you don't fall behind in your classes, if it is time to take them out. USMMA plebes are told to get them removed before I-Day and due to the fact that they participate in Sea Year between 3rd and 2nd...
