I have my physical at the end of August. My NCOIC told me this was the earliest slot he could get for me. One cadet at my det just dropped along with an RPA slot. So hopefully that goes to someone who really wants it.

Oh really? We didn't get offered the CSO opportunity at our detachment. It was our 400s now that were offered the CSO ABM scholarship at our det. We did get offered the Missile scholarship though. Congratulations to all of the rated recipients!

I am noticing a trend with this. A cadet from my det and another from FT didn't get slots and their only high preference was pilot, the rest were low interest.

Does anybody know how many cadets went to FT on an EA rated slot? I am trying to compare that number to the claimed 390/50 numbers. What are the CSO and ABM slots looking like? I am anxiously awaiting my fate on this board.

My det has a lot more this year. Last year only 6 of us went to FT (11 went up for it). This year there are 20 (including 2 500's that didn't get to go last year). I heard the numbers will be similar this year due to the amount of maxes.

I think you have answered your own question. It seems like you want to go Army more than you do Air Force. I say go with the Army.
