    Wait List

I was wait listed last year by USNA and taken off wait list once all the seats filled. So I went to my state school and re-applied. In 83 days, I'll be able to live my dream by attending USNA after receiving an appointment. Don't give up the ship! Keep going!

    CVW or prom

CVW doesn't hurt to go. It can only help your application because when you go into interviews, they will highly likely ask you if you visited the Academy or did any programs at the Academy, so CVW is a great talking point. Plus while at CVW, you have resources where you have no where else as...

    CVW or prom

When you go for Candidate Visit Weekend, they will most likely sit you all down in an auditorium and give an admissions presentation with some speakers to begin the weekend. Families are welcomed to attend and stay for that to find out more and ask questions, etc. If you were to just visit the...

    CVW or prom

There is more than one date for CVW. I went to CVW in the fall. Check the USNA website for more available dates. Proms are always fun and definitely nights you'll remember.

    College Re-applicants 2021

Hello everyone! I am a college re-applicant and wanted to share that I received an LOA on Feb. 10. Haven't been on the forum in a while so this is my effort to connect to people. Last year, I was wait-listed for USNA but was pulled off mid-April because I required surgery for a torn ACL I...

USNA Class of 2021: LOA Already in June 2016!?!?!

https://www.usmma.edu/sites/usmma.edu/files/docs/Candidate%20Fitness%20Assessment%20Instructions.pdf I used this for my CFA this past year. USMMA based it off of West Point fitness assessment. This shows averages and what you should set as your minimum.

USNA Class of 2021: LOA Already in June 2016!?!?!

Plus you can keep submitting new CFA scores all the way up to the deadline. That's what I did this past year. I took the CFA 3 times and improved each time in categories.

USNA Class of 2021: LOA Already in June 2016!?!?!

Well I was on the waiting list this past year but torn my ACL and was pulled off and I am re applying. What admissions like to see is that a candidate isn't satisfied with their score. They want to keep improving and striving to get better scores, but CFAs are not super scored. You have to...
