Don't know if it's true or not but I've read that the West Point cadets are the happiest complainers in the world. My DS is currently a plebe. He really seems to be enjoying his time there even during the gloom period :eek:

My DS was in your situation a year ago - actually worse, as he was medically DQ'd. Despite that he got the BFE this time around. I don't know exactly how much weight USMA puts on it but I do know for a fact that they listen to the MOC. In the case of DS, the MOC nomination...

My son got his TWE yesterday. He was surprised and very exited he made it. VBButler - I think you are correct about your location playing a role in not getting accepted. I'm confident that geographically being from Arkansas helped my son a lot. He applied early so maybe that helped also.
