    Asking for Feedback

I was able to fill out the security form on Adobe after downloading just fine and then printing later. Tried one other computer before it that didn't support filling it out electronically. As for accessibility, it was initially a pain to navigate to the portal (so was accessing the application...

    Cadre Taking Questions

With that in mind I'll build up to 7 miles, which was the original goal to compensate for boots. I guess I was on the right track as it was. Thank you!

    Cadre Taking Questions

What I meant was what is the maximum distance in a single run. I'm not much of a runner so the high volume gets to me and gives me some inflammation and that. I would like to know at what point I can lay off of the distance in favor of speed for the AFT. My first goal is survival (in distance...

    Cadre Taking Questions

Of all the things prior cadets have told me about physical preparedness, conditioning was the most important. What is the maximum distance we can expect to run in one sitting? I would like to know if I need to keep pushing for distance or to start focusing more on intervals and such for my 1.5...

United States Air Force Academy (Admissions)

Deferred EA here also. I wasn't nominated by then. Then I received a principal nomination and got the letter around the end of January or early February.

United States Air Force Academy (Admissions)

My appointment letter came in a small 8.5x11in envelope, if I remember right. All it had was a letter explaining their admissions decision, so it wasn't a fat envelope. Again, that's if I remember right.

    AP Exam vs. Course Validation

From what I've been told, your credits will not transfer. Your knowledge, however, will allow you to test out of English, chemistry, calc, computer science, possibly physics, etc. If you take the AP test then maybe it is like an extra shot at validating if you're kind of on the line of passing...

    Would you do it again?

I've talked to maybe four other graduates not on this forum, and every single one said they'd do it again. One commented that knowing how much work it was he wouldn't do the work again, but he's glad he went through in the first place.

    AP Exam vs. Course Validation

Why would you have to decide between validating through AP versus validating through a test at BCT? I would just take every AP test you can and try to validate any other courses for which you didn't take AP. If your AP score isn't high enough to validate you still get a second shot by placing...

    Would you do it again?

It is nice to know that even academic probation did not deter you from loving the experience. I will admit that few to no people on this forum disliked their experience. If you hated it, you probably wouldn't be giving us all advice!

    Would you do it again?

Every time I've talked with a past academy grad, the question that most interests me is whether or not they would do it again. I'm calling on those of you who have graduated any service academy, ROTC included, to let me know if you would attend an academy again and if it was worth it. Every...
