My son, New Cadet USMA 2018, benefited greatly from an SAT Prep class. I suggest taking that this summer. The average SAT Math/Verbal combination for the class was in the 1260-1270 range.

I recommend waiting until an application file is opened up for your DS with USMA.

DS is at MMI now. MMI runs a shuttle to and from Birmingham for holidays, breaks etc. for the cadets. We have flown into Birmingham and Montgomery from Boston by way of Charlotte and Atlanta. Personally we found the drive from Montgomery easier and a nicer ride than Birmingham when traveling...
