I haven't been keeping up with this thread too much lately, so maybe I missed it... But did anyone get a letter about Falcon Foundation or AFA Prep School acceptance? I think I've been hesitating to pay a deposit and acceptance for college because I haven't heard of those letters going out yet.

Exactly. I'm not letting one rejection slow me down. We'll talk again after 2 or 3... But it shows a lot of maturity to take the rejection like a criticism, improve on it and come back for another try, and most of all to find the positives in it! I decided I wanted to apply around...

I found it helpful to just keep it natural. Don't think about it too much. I started with standing, I'd just stand and without trying to control my body a specific way throw the ball as far as I could with one arm. I payed attention to how my torso twisted, where my arm went, and how my feet...

Would the civilian teachers be forced to temporarily leave? I feel like some teachers would feel an obligation to still go teach their class even without pay. Then again, I'm an optimist. High Schoolers still have to go to public school, including their teachers :frown:

The CGA also has one of the smallest populations, if not the smallest. It seems the bigger schools (AFA, USNA, USMA) care more about diversity

In the Instructions to Candidates pdf the last pages go over the PFT, which includes min, mean, max scores. Not to insult anyone, but that's different from the CFA and the CFA's maxs and means. Maybe that's the minimums you were referring to? The last pages of that pdf also include a Pre-BCT...

Try giving a call or email to your ALO about that. My dad has a BCT video from when he was an ALO, he used that video when giving presentations at schools. It's a bit outdated (very early 90's looking) but maybe current ALOs still get videos.

When reapplying, I know you have to show that you're working hard in college and actually handling the courseload well. I plan to impress ROTC leadership and also pull a really good GPA. But it gets a little tough weighing good GPA and courseload. I took AP Calc AB in my Junior year, which is...

Only about 20% of the AFROTC cadets are on a 4 year scholarship. Look into other scholarships for the school you want to go to
