DS was also assigned to CLC 1st Reg at FT. Knox. Have not heard any horror stories as of yet…hope that is a good sign! As for airline, he was able to check in 2 army duffle bags and a rucksack at no charge.

laxmom8, He received an email from CC stating the approval of the transfer request. His transfer was unique as the original request was sent Feb. 8th and ran into a few snags along the way. As a follow up, after the request he did email CC to confirm the receipt of the transfer.

Yes, he has been in contact with the school. They have been encouraging but unable to provide an answer so he was thinking a call to CC may be beneficial. It has been a long process as original scholarship was awarded Jan. 30th.

Does anyone have a phone number for CC that would lead to a person? My DS is waiting for resolution of a 4-yr scholarship transfer (discussed in a prev. thread) and would like to call CC but is only getting voice mail.

Thanks for the reply! The school that was in the transfer appeal is actually about 30% less expensive as the original offer. What concerned us most was the fact that they approved the 4-yr transfer, he accepted and they then came back and said it was 3-year. Seems to be a very odd...
