    My competitivness

It all just depends on the person. It was much easier for me to improve on the ACT. Also on the reading ACT I jumped from a 22 to a 29, but not from much prepping. I've been reading all my life and from what I read I can tell the ideas that people are trying to get across. I was just a...

    Perfect SAT Score

I know someone who made straight As their whole high school career and then got a 2400 on their SAT. The only school they applied to was UNC at Chapel Hill. They did not get in because they had no ECs. I have a feeling that WP is much harder to get accepted to than UNCCH so they dont want...

    Misdemeanor affect ROTC Scholarship?

It always slips my mind that different states are governed by different laws. NC is much more lenient than Virginia with the payment of dues and in NC for a speeding ticket you can almost automatically get your speeding plead down to 9 over( if your speed was not in excess of 20mph over the...

    Misdemeanor affect ROTC Scholarship?

Honestly a lawyer is not at all necessary. You will end up spending alot of money to get someone to do what you can do yourself. Before you even talk to a judge you talk to a magistrate( I think thats what they are) and thats where you will plead guilty, not guilty, or first offenders program...

    Misdemeanor affect ROTC Scholarship?

The same thing happened to me. Go to court and plead the first offenders program which will automatically put you in a alcohol education course that you must complete and pass. Then the charge will be removed from your record but I still told everyone on my applications. You should most...

    Transcript submission question

Right now I would recommend faxing your transcripts to your RCO's office because it will take 2 weeks for most out of state transcripts to get to West Point plus the time it takes to process them. Just speculation but if you mail your transcript now your file might not be complete by August first

Application Process: Am I Missing Something?

I think its good to contact your FFR first, and if you dont know who they are yet you should email or call someone at West Point, maybe like a congressional district coordinator. You can find their info in your portal.

I would take his/her word for it. I feel like West Point is big on not getting candidates hopes up over nothing.

    alcohol on DoDMERB

That is actually very interesting. Tons of my classmates have written papers about how the US should let parents be the ones to supervise consuming alcohol. Not one of them knew about this and it is in effect in over half the states! Mind boggling:yllol:
