You definitely have a shot .. my sons GPA was not the best and his test scores were decent. Good luck to you!!!!

DSs TWE came today. We will now move forward with Plan B that we set into motion a while back. Congrats to those that have made it! I'm proud of my DS for going for it! He is in good spirits knowing his other top choice is waiting for him.

Right here with you in NC ... I think I am more nervous than my DS.

I just recently found this board and am awaiting the (hopeful) BFE with DS... but I have to ask, because I have not seen anything on it - how much do letters of recommendation play into being selected for the Academy? Just curious since it seems everything else is being evaluated at great...

Norwich is my son's 2nd choice behind the USAFA .. he got accepted to NU's ME program back in November. Depending on the results of USAFA, he may be attending NU as part of the Class of 2016! :thumb:

My son received his nomination from Kissell for the USAFA. Now waiting anxiously for the news from them on an appointment or not.

Just found this board recently ... and I am glad I did!! I have gotten more information as we lie here in wait for our son's BFE or TWE to the USAFA. Hoping for good news!!!!
