Does anyone know how many cadets wanted aviation in 2012 verses how many got into aviation? This question is very important to me, but I can't seem to find the answer anywhere.

I'm from Illinois. I'm not sure. I have some of the same questions as you. Knowing when doesn't change the outcome, so I guess it doesn't matter all that much. It just helps me be less stressed in waiting if I have a timeframe to which I can look forward.

I received a type-7 AFROTC scholarship, and if I use it, I will be attending Illinois. I am still waiting to hear from USAFA, though. I also just received an appointment to West Point which threw a monkey wrench into my decision making situation.
