I'm loving the American theme!! I'm having a combined party with my sister who is graduating from college. Luckily each of the colors matches the high school/college left and colleges we're going to; maybe add a little orange in for CGA! But, I don't know if she can convince me to wear matching...
I highly recommend having your daughter apply to AIM! It's a fantastic program and provides a totally different prospective from what you'll see in March! Best of luck to your daughter!

I didn't fill out the optional essay for AIM and was selected. You should be fine; however, if you need to add anything take advantage of the essay!
Btw- If you end up applying in the fall, do fill out every space and essay provided to you!

Absolutely! I didn't attend any other summer programs, but I had visited AFA prior to AIM. I was impressed by both! The academies each have their own pros and cons. It really depends on the individual match, yet you can't go wrong with any SA. Coming out of AIM I knew that it was my top choice...

Like what USnavy said, I think the essays are extremely important and can give you the extra push for acceptance into AIM. It's the only part of the app that let's your voice come through!
FWIW, I highly recommend AIM! It can't hurt to apply. It was the best experience of my life!
