Why are statuses not being updated? People who have recently posted said that their status changed to "we are sorry but you did not receive a scholarship.... "something like that. What does it mean for people whose statuses have not changed?

My ROO said that the offers go out today, but we won't know officially until Wednesday... How exactly does that work? My status hasn't changed yet, but there's still a chance for Wednesday?? Do they get notified but not me?

Are scholarships given out by school? Does every school have a certain amount of scholarships that they can give out?

Are the three year scholarships only given out in the third board?

Thank you. If we are selected for the scholarship, is there any training over the summer? Also, do ROTC cadets have to arrive at their school of choice before the other students?
