My daughter is sponsored by West Point and attends MMI. If you have any questions I would be happy to answer. As stated above USCGA has the highest number at MMI followed by West Point (20 sponsored and 5 self prep have appointments to date).

Congratulations to you and your son! My daughter is currently an AOG at civil prep and I truly believe she is much more mature and better prepared for West Point now than she would have been if she had received direct appointment. Enjoy the next few months :)

Has he asked his RC if he is 3Q? Not all send letters, but most will tell him if he is or not. If he received a 4 year AFROTC scholarship then his stats are probably strong enough to be 3Q. If in fact he is, then USMAPS is not an option as these candidates are not qualified academically...

Has he contacted his RC and asked if an AOG (appointment to civil prep for those 3Q) was an option? My DD is attending MMI as a sponsored prep and I believe all but 1 received appointments for this class.
