An email seeking feedback regarding TD

If he does AFROTC (His school does not have NROTC) then he is unable to get a ROTC nom for USNA, only USAFA. However, he should still aim to do well to get a Letter of Recommendation for his Commanding Officer. As an NROTC Midshipman who went through the reapplication cycle and was accepted...

If I am reading this correctly, you are currently an AFROTC Cadet?

    USNA Class of 2028

I have not. While USNA has the 2028 I-Day date on their website, they still have the 2027 PTR up. I imagine they will focus on the 2028 PTR once they finish sending our acceptance, TD, and waitlist statuses. We have time. Just focus on finishing this academic year out strong.

Turned down, No Email Received, and still says Under Waiver Review

DoDMERB takes time to update, your status will turn to "Waiver Denied." Remember that DoDMERB has to get changes in waiver status from the waiver authority.

USNA Color Vision Waiver Agreement- Marine Ground?

Yes, 20/20 left and 20/25 here. Got the D155.41 waiver for it along with D154.00 (Current or recurrent diplopia). Note: Had an LOA in OCT of the last (2027) USNA cycle and was denied a waiver, but granted for NROTC. I was granted the USNA waiver this cycle.

    Waiver denied

This brings back some memories of the 2027 admission cycle for me. If you believe your DQs will not prevent you from serving and have your heart set on USNA, reapply. That's what I did. I got a LOA for USNA on 01OCT2022 during the 2027 cycle and was medically turned down for D154.00 (Current or...

Question going from NROTC to USNA

I already have. They do not know either but are looking into it. I just wanted to see if anyone here has gone through the process recently.

Question going from NROTC to USNA

Since I have just received and accepted an Offer of Appointment, I was wondering how would it work coming from NROTC. I received a 4-year National Scholarship straight out of High School and I am about to finish my first year before reporting to USNA this summer. Does anyone have any experience...

Medically waived by USNA. I have met all requirements and now waiting for my LOA to turn into an Officer of Appointment.

Depends. What Major do you intend with NROTC? Some majors will almost require you to take an extra year at civilian schools. Another question to ask yourself is if USNA is important enough to you to extend commissioning an extra year.

My only worry is I am exactly where I was last cycle; LOA pending medical. The correction email was from my MOC's office.

Well... I am slightly annoyed. Just got a correction email. I have an offer, pending a medical waiver... I am exactly where I was this time last year, LOA pending medical.
