I definitely forgot to post my leadership and community service stuff.
Volunteer at Kaiser hospital 200+ hours as well as 4 year club member of Interact club.
And for leadership:
HS swimming team captain; 4 year letter varsity
Vice President for California Scholarship Federation club...
I received my rejection letter today. It was still great being able to attend AiM and go on this application journey with you all. Good luck to all those still waiting! :thumb:
If your DS completed the exam for the naval academy, then the CGA will just request for the exam results you took for the naval academy.
After saying that, I would figure that if your DS is qualified for the naval academy, then he should be for the CGA too.
And as for your Dodmets question...
Every applicant the CGA considers as competitive will get a letter from DoDMERB. It's pretty much just an indicator that you're moving along with the application process.
Objee explains how to change your LOR recipients in a previous thread.
And as for the coach change, My opinion is that I would want a better written LOR than a rushed one, even if it's a coach from two years ago.
I got a BFE from the USCGA today, but it was merely a letter stating that My application was completed and submitted, as well as a nice booklet about Coast Guard athletics. Gave my heart a jump! :shake:
If you go back to your portal where it says all of your recommenders' names, there should be some drop down text next to their name that says something like 'edit' and you can click one of the options and you can resend the recommendation request email to a different address.
Sorry it's a bit...
