Syracuse and University of Vermont both verbally and in writing said they'd cover room and board if you were a National scholarship recipient - just asked again at both detachments last weekend when visiting for admitted student days.

My daughter FINALLY committed to her school of choice tonight and we paid the deposit. (She is a 4-year scholarship winner.). My husband thinks the scholarship should have covered the deposit, but I don't see how since there is no mechanism for the Army to pay the deposit and I've not seen...

Wowza. I feel for the kids who are waiting on that possible scholarship to commit to a school - this is cutting it VERY close to deadline.

DD also just got the upgrade notice. While her top schools were either already upgrading her totally or covering a portion of the first year, having it done officially is just so much easier. Congrats to all who received 3 or 4 year scholarships!

I hope this is the case as Wings is now saying March 31st!

Anyone getting a message when checking your status that you will be notified by March 31st? And the wait continues.....I do hope the above note that said they were told announcement would be tomorrow (19th) is correct! Good luck to all.

i can only see my daughter's status when logging onto the site from my desktop—the status box isn't an option for me on my phone (that i can see, at least).
