Well, I guess I will be one of the first to say that the Class of 2016 is finally done with BCT and we now have our computers! BCT was a challenge, but if you work as a team, anything can be accomplished!:thumb:

I know this comes down to a personal choice, but is it a good idea to go skydiving before I-Day? I know there is alot of risk in it, but the risk is very small. Any ideas/suggestions??

Wow this is very informative! How many cadets get selected to at least do the jump program over the summer?

What is AM 490? Is that the summer program where you get your jump wings? And do you know how competitive it is to get a AM 490 slot?

Does anyone have experience or know someone with experience on the Wings of Blue parachuting team? I am very interested and motivated to try and make the Wings of Blue team when I get to the Academy. I was wondering if anyone can tell me what it takes to get on the team.

Unfortunately for me, since I am a Falcon Foundation scholar at Marion Military Institute, we do not get out until May 7th! I would have loved to go!

Nothing here at MMI... we are still waiting. I did hear that we will be hearing more towards the middle of April and early May. :frown: But, if you did well during your Falcon prep year, you should have nothing to worry about but the waiting!

A little update on my situation: I called my USAFA counselor today and he told me that I have received the VP nomination for USAFA. This is good news!:shake: Now, we just have to wait and see if I am chosen off of that nomination...:confused:

I have been in contact with Gen. Kelly before. I will keep in contact with him until the mass amount of appointments come out.
