Was there any reflection of the appointment in bears den? Jayhawk circled my school today multiple times and we joked at lunch saying it was air delivering my appointment decision... getting more anxious as time goes by!

For anyone who has received a conditional appointment, will they notify you by phone or email early on, like those who have received full appointments have been notified? Or will it be closer to the notification deadline date with the wait listed and rejected applicants?

Actually, I just remembered reading on the website that interviews are only available through January. Since it's the 28th today, you may be too late to get one.

That's odd. I would recommend contacting your AO again explaining your situation. I had an interview scheduled within 24-48 hours.

Contact your AO to request an interview. They will then notify the Academy Admissions Partner that you have requested an interview and they will contact you.

CGA doesn't require a nomination :wink: But otherwise good information. Just from what I've read, attending academy events and requesting an interview also shows additional interest. Though this does play a role in your application, I would think it would be very minor compared to...

In addition to smaller classes, don't expect to see many more of those "he was honest about breaking the rules, so we'll keep him around" honor/conduct violation cases. There most likely won't be that many second chances, and very few third chances.

I can't imagine how much trouble those receiving appointments in March, April and May will have with this...

So if you are 3Q'd, but overweight, will they still tender an appointment? and if overweight, do they give you until I-Day (or before) to correct it?

Or did you receive an email saying your file was scheduled for review?

Can you be DODMERB qualified when overweight?
