Does the CFA not carry over? Also if we retake the CFA, is it possible to have a BGO in the surrounding area of our college administer it? Or does it have to be our issued BGO? Sorry to hijack btw

My personal advice would be to call your MOC literally tomorrow or within the next few days and just get an questions wrinkled out. My MOC didn't open his application to September, and I must've called at least 7-8 times before asking questions and when they would open the app. A good thing also...

Just checked my portal...looks like I'm still in the hunt and CPR. If not, I'll be attending UIUC on a full ride (Evans Scholarship) and will try to walk on to the NROTC unit if possible. Congrats to everyone for making it this far, sounds like everyone has great plans in place

At summer seminar the admissions rep for my region (Illinois) said that roughly two thirds of all nominated plus triple qualified candidates are admitted

Also to add to my point above my BGO said the only reason mine were requested was because my transcript had some discrepancy (I believe my counselor screwed up and sent an outdated one) so I wouldn't be suprised if your DS doesn't get a request unless he also has some discrepancy

My BGO actually contacted me today and said I would be getting a letter soon requesting my 7th semester (fall semester) transcripts if that helps. Thank god for the heads up because I think I would pass out if I got a TWE only to find out it was just a transcript request

I attended first session of summer seminar. I thought the pull-ups were very lenient, and the push-ups and sit ups were pretty lenient. But I agree that you should train like somebody will be standing over your shoulder and be well enough prepared you don't have to worry about them being lenient

You guys should move to Illinois. My MOC had 20 apply for nom's to all 4 schools combined. Nominated 1 to USMA,6 to USNA, 6 USAFA, and 0 USMMA. Crazy how different the demand is in some areas

The exact same thing happened to me and I nearly had a heart attack. My preference order was USNA, USMA, then USAFA. I called my Bgo right away and he contacted the academy and my congressman and found out that my congressman had nominated me for all three. I suggest you call your bgo/ MOC and...
