question??? My son's status simply says that it is awaiting processing. I just assumed that since we had heard nothing so far that he was out of the runnng, and he was preparing to leave for basic training. If there has bee no news at all, should we jst assume that he did not get an offer?

OUcH! We heard yesterday, and I think not getting it bothered me more than my son. Now we plan for basic and how college will work with the reserves. At least OU was offering him enough in aid to come there without loans, so we hope we can roll that to spring of 2012. I wish someone would...

No news in Oklahoma. Wish I knew how many spots are available nad how many people applied! My son is hoping to go to OU so he can use his OHLAP and (hopefully) NROTC scholarship and be pretty much covered for everything.

My son has been accepted into his top school and now we are just waiting to hear about the NROTC-Marine Option scholarship. If he does not get it, he will leave for the reserves on 6/13/2011. He has a 3.6 GPA, he is in the top 15% of his class, he has 10 varsity letters for sports, Student...
