Just FYI, the slowest time that you can run and pass the PRT as a MIDN is 10:29. Most people run somewhere in the 9's.

It is not on anchor dates yet....maybe the academy only plans for classes that exist currently haha :rolleyes:

You are in for a rude awakening in two weeks if you think there is liberty for Plebes during the summer :thumbdown: There is a little downtime on sunday when church services are going on. Saturdays during plebe summer are treated like a weekday.

I would hesitate to say that you quailfy under readmission, since you were never really a Midshipman....

NO :eek: ! i am not saying that every plebe needs to go out and drop a few hundred dollars on an smartphone...my plebe year roommate has a phone that he says "is out of the soviet era" and he did just fine! It is just something nice to have, and can make your life a little easier...

My 2 cents as a recent plebe... I used my smartphone with data alot...the academy runs on email and having access to it in the palm of your hand comes in very handy...also there will be times that you want the phone for the quick access to the internet or the games on it! Trust me, there are...

I am not certain what you mean by more discipline when it comes to academics :thumbdown: Both are fantastic schools (with very similar academic programs) with many different opportunities. Choose which service you want to join, no based off of the 4 years of school.
