Is contact dermatitis disqualifying from the military? I read the AR 40-501 and it says " contact dermatitis is disqualifying, especially to materials found in required protective equipment. " does this mean that its only disqualifying if its to like rubber or something like that?

I know this looks bad, but it wasn't from smoking it was from a type of shoe I wore that I bought at a store on a military base. Will this disqualify me?

So if one time I had an episode of contact dermatitis and had to use prescription steroid cream to treat it that is disqualifying?

Ok. Last question: what if your college is not near a military base? Who does the physical?

what if I am offered a 3 1/2 year scholarship. Also, even non scholarship cadets cost the Army money wouldn't they want to know they are eligible to commission before the invest in them?

I am just learning about ROTC right now and plan on joining as a non scholarship cadet this fall(my freshman year). Do I need to do it before I get to school or will arrangements be made to do it when I get to school?
